Osteopathic History
I am a registered General Osteopathic Council practitioner (Registration number 6414) and also a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. I graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2007 with Distinction. Before setting up the Hearne Osteopathic Practice, I worked in busy clinics in Reading, Arborfield, Virginia Water and Chingford. Previous to becoming an Osteopath, I worked as an Assistant Director in Film & TV for 18 years.
Post Graduate Study
I have undertaken numerous courses including:
- Cranial Osteopathy
- Paediatrics
- Temporomandibular Joint problems (Jaw Joint)
- Osteopathy for pregnancy and after the birth
- Visceral Osteopathy (e.g. digestive disorders)
In my free time
Sprinting to an uphill finish line..!
I have been a keen windsurfer since the age of 13, and have also had a long history of Masters swimming. I am a regular road cyclist and mountain biker, and have taken part in the Etape du Tour, The Marmotte cyclosportive, the Haute Route Alpes and the Haute Route Pyrenees. I am a member of GS Henley Cycling Club.
